'Rosspirtprom's' production won prestigious awards at the 2019 moscow spirit competition

JSC Rosspirtprom's products were awarded top prizes at the 11th Moscow International Spirit Competition. Beslan's 'Luxe' and Zernoprodukt's 'Alpha' ethyl alcohols won a gold medal and a diploma of the first degree.
Under supervision by Supervisory committee, the competition's tasting took place at ВНИИПБТ (the Russian Scientific Research Institute of Food Biotechnology), which is a subsidiary of ФГБУН (the Institute of Nutrition). Expert panellists blind tasted samples in different categories: 'Luxe', 'Extra', 'Alpha', 'Best Quality' and 'International Spirits'.
The Supervisory committee was made up of representives of manufacturing plants and the media. The committee made sure the tasting rules were followed and that the samples were properly encrypted. According to the current rules, representatives from manufacturing plants encrypt the alcohol products, whilst alcohol samples are encrypted by representatives from distilleries. The Supervisory committee included two members from JSC 'Rosspirtprom': Head of Quality and Metrology, Irina Polyakova and laboratory manager at 'Zernoprodukt' Ltd., Maria Nasonova.
The evaluation of the submitted samples was undertaken by a panel of experts, including: Irina Mikhailovna Abramova - a representative from the competitions tasting panel, Doctor of Technical Science, Director of the Russian Scientific Research Institute of Food Biotechnology - a subsidiary of the Institute of Nutrition.
Victor Nikolaevich Aksenov - a representative of the expert sampling commission 'ROSTEST - Moscow'.
Marina Eduardovna Medrish PhD (Technical Sciences) - Manager of the Testing Laboratory of techno-chemical control and reference methods of analysis at the Russian Scientific Research Institute of Food Biotechnology.
Ayjamal Dzhetpisovna Kayupova - Deputy Chairman of the Technical Committee for Alcoholic products, Republic of Kazakhstan.
Antonina Vladimirovna Sharikina heads up the department of standardization, certification and metrology at the Russian Scientific Research Institute of Food Biotechnology.
Mikhail Vladimirovich Turshatov PhD (Technical sciences) manages the laboratory of alcohol production technology at the Russian Scientific Research Institute of Food Biotechnology - a subsidiary of the Institute of Nutrition.
The results of the sample evaluation served as the basis for deciding the awards.
The Moscow International Spirit Competition is the largest professional competition for spirits in Europe and Asia, which helps manufacturers of alcoholic beverages, cosmetics, medical items and other products to choose high-quality partners as their alcohol producers.
SC Rosspirtprom's Head of Quality and Metrology, Irina Polyakova, commented on the company's success at the competition, saying "We are very proud and honoured to once again receive a high rating from the professional jury for our products.
